环境污染的社会讲述--以日本四日市市大气污染为例∗
Public Narratives of Environment Pollution:A Case Study of Yokkaichi Air Pollution
摘要
Abstract
How will environment pollution be narrated by the public? And how will narratives of environmental pollution relate to pollution control? This paper describes and analyzes the narratives of pollution in the process that Yokkaichi being transformed from a″heavily￣polluted city″to″environmentally￣regenerated city″since 1960s until now. In Yokkaichi,the public narratives of pollution helped to reveal the problems,contact the victims of pollution and promote environmental protests. After the pollution lawsuits in the city, when pollution as a big problem gradually faded from public views,public narratives in Yokkaichi did not cease and continued to reveal the unsolved pollution. While some achievements were made in the recovery of polluted￣environment,the narra￣tives were transformed from confrontational stances between the pollution victims and polluters to one of the city′s collective memory shaping activities.关键词
