Stuay on the Lateral Vibration of Suspended Flexible Cable with Damping
摘要
Abstract
The mathematical model describes the small lateral vibration of a suspended flexible cable, which affected by air resistance and gravity is established. The exact analytical solution of the model, which satisfies the given bound-ary conditions and initial conditions is obtained by using a simple hypothesis method. Next the problem is studied by experimental method and the results are compared with the theoretical results.关键词
