Abstract
Stress hyperglycemia can seriously affect patients' prognosis. The pathogenesis of stress hyperglycemia has been basically clarified, and has attracted more and more attention by the medical profession. Stress hyperglycemia is not the same as diabetes, it mostly occurs in critically ill patients, it can produce a lot of harmful physiological effects to the body. The pathogenesis of stress hyperglycemia mainly includes the increased secretion of growth hormone, cor-tical hormone, catecholamine hormone and glucagon, and insulin resistance. In this paper, we study the epidemiologi-cal characteristics and pathogenesis of stress hyperglycemia, the harm of patients' body, as well as its influence on pa-tients' prognosis.关键词
