Vulnerability and Responsive Mechanism of Social Ecosystems of the Limnological Watershed--the Dianchi Lake Case
摘要
Abstract
With the rapid developm entofsocialeconom y and the fastgrow th ofpopulation,the pollutantloadsand the ecologicaldegradation oflim nologicalwatershedsare gradually aggravating,and theirdam age to the structure and function ofthe ecologicaleconom ic system sisdevastating.From the perspectivesoflim nologicalwatershedsand social ecologicalsystem s,a com prehensive system analysisto find outthe vulnerability mechanism isofgreatsignificance for controlling headw aterpollution and m itigating ecologicaldegradation oflim nologicalwatersheds.The presentstudy com bined the models of“Pressure State R esponse”with“Exposure Sensitivity R esilience”,developed a framework forthe socialecosystem vulnerability analysis,and tried to explore the vulnerability and the responsive mechanism ofa case lim nologicalwatershed:the Dianchilake watershed system .Ourresultsshow thatthe Dianchilake watershed,whose vulnerable area isgreatly expanding and vulnerable magnitude isincreasing,wasthe centerororigin ofthe vulnerability ofthe whole Kunming city.The responsive vulnerability factorsvaried and the magnitude ofvulnerability tended to equalize between areaswithin the watershed.The socialfactors,especially the hum an activities,were found to be the m ajorresponsive factorsforthe vulnerability form ation.Forexam ple,the unreasonable land use wasthe biggest contributorto the vulnerability in the Dianchilake watershed.The cross-scale interaction also played an im portantrole in the form ation ofvulnerability.The magnitude ofvulnerability wasobviously influenced by externalfactors.In the studied watershed system ,the degree ofself-organization wasshownlow,and the environm entalgovernance efficiency ofits socialecologicalsystem wasm arkedly poor.Finally,the authorsre commended some management practicesfor effectively regulating ofthe vulnerability ofthe Dianchilake watershed.关键词
