摘要

Abstract

To reduce the work to help grapevines overwinter, we regularly collected the lowest and the highest temperature in Turpan in the winterof2011 and 2012,the temperature range underdouble orsingle black plastic cover and single white plastic cover,respectively.The results showed thatthe method with double black coverwas betterthan the single one.The lowesttemperature underdouble coverwas 1.3-1.5℃higher than thatunder the single one,and the highest temperature under double cover was 2.6-3.0℃ higher than that under the single one. The double coverage method could help grapevines to survive the extreme lowweatherand frost.The growth period ofgrapevines underthe double cover is 3-15 days longer than those under single cover.However,during warmer days,the temperature under black double coverincreased too fastdue to the green house effectand the highesttemperature was 5.9-9.4℃ higher than thaton the single one.During this period,single white plastic coverwas betterthan the black,with the grapevine growth period increasing 12 days longer.B ased on this study,we suggest that the covershould be sealed to preserve heatwhen the lowestthe temperature is 0 ℃ in autumn to avoid the difficulty of late sealing,and the covershould be unsealed for cooling when the highesttemperature is 5℃ in spring.Also,irrigation should be started immediately.Late orno spring irrigation may lead to high temperature and high humidity,which is harmful for the grapevine.
