On Dissemination Failure of Scientific Information Products in Scientific Communication Process

Abstract
Recently, genetically modified organisms have aroused various social assessments and public debate. Based on the perspective of public understanding of science, this article indicates the problems of information asymmetry and misunderstanding of scientific terms in the scientific communication process. By analyzing the dissemination and usage of scientific information products among scientific commu-nity, news media and general public, and explores the dissemination failure problems involved in two-way communication, understanding the context and the needs of the public, and media influence on the scientific term usage of scientific information products. Finally, it pro-poses four suggestions to reduce the dissemination and usage failure of scientific information products.关键词
