Abstract
Based on the Derwent Innovation Index database, we provide a patent bibliometric and visual analysis of alternative energy, and reveal the characteristics of technical topics and patent assignees of the green technology field in China. The result shows that, after a long initiation stage and slow growth stage, the number of patent applications grows rapidly after 2006, and the technical topics are close to the international trend. However, foreign enterprises have a significant advantage of the amount of patents, especially high quality pa-tents, which forms a patent encirclement to China in alternative energy field. Besides, the distribution of domestic assignees by organiza-tion type is not rational. At last, the paper provides corresponding countermeasures from the perspectives of the technology R&D direc-tions, enterprise management and government functions.关键词
