South Korea’s Latest Policies on the Internet of Things

Abstract
Now the Internet of Things(IoT) industry is growing very fast. Early in 2009, the South Korea government had issuedThe Plan of M2M Communications Infrastructure Building and started to construct the relevant infrastructures. In the first half of 2014, the South Korea government releasedThe IoT Planand The Plan of The New Generation of Smart Device Korea 2020 was launched at the same time which is the ifrst sub-plan under The IoT Plan. During the second half of 2014, South Korea government not only developedThe Roadmap of IoT Information Security and made its IoT R&D strategy, but also set up an IoT demonstration center and ofifcially started the demonstration projects participated by nine ofifcial organizations. In South Korea, IoT Industry promotion now goes into full swing. Policies on IoT industry taken by South Korea are key to enhance the industry’s dominating role and create the emerging fusion technology and services, which is worthy of understanding and using for reference to us.关键词
