Analysis on the EU Development Strategy Towards Circular Economy

Abstract
On 2nd of July, 2014, the European Commission announced the EU development strategy towards circular economy. It was decided that the European economy must be transformed towards the recycling economy focusing on the efifcient use of resources. The European Commission will develop a uniifed policy framework for recycling economy at the EU level, including: the design and innovation of circular economy, stimulating investment, business and consumer participation. The European Commission has set up waste management objectives in the transformation of circular economy, simplified and improved the regulations of waste management at member states level, supports the waste management objectives by research and innovation, and actively responds to the key challenges of waste management. Through in depth analysis of the EU sustainable economic development strategy on circular economy, it is intended to provide useful policy reference for China’s economic and social sustainable development.关键词
