摘要

Abstract

The AC field measurement technology (ACFM) is a new kind of electromagnetic testing method in recent years,which is used to perform early evaluation for damages of metal components through field disturbance caused by cracks on the surface of pieces under test,representing a major future development trend of the nondestructive testing field.The paper analyzes the fundamental principle of AC field measurement,with the simulation model built based on the finite element technology.According to ACFM simulation study,the correspondence between testing signal characteristics and size parameters of cracks on test-pieces is researched,as well as the effect of detecting frequency,lifting height,and material features (such as permeability and conductivity) and other factors on the detection sensitivity,with some critical conclusions worked out,providing a basis for deep research and wide application of the detecting technology.
