摘要

Abstract

The bearing is used to withstand the alternating load during reclaiming work, resulting in sudden breakage and failure after used certain times which will cause significant economic loss or even casualties. With the 5 400 t/h cantile-ver bucket wheel reclaimer as an example, the model is built using SolidWorks for the bucket lifting working condition to perform the finite element analysis. The analysis result shows that breakage of the bucket wheel shaft is caused by fatigue failure. The bearing part prone to fatigue failure is improved as described in the paper, which increases the service life of the bucket wheel shaft, providing reference and theoretic guidance for design of the bearing.
