摘要

Abstract

The weld fatigue strength is usually calculated with the nominal stress evaluation method based on the standard structure S-N curve.Due to the complex geometry of the crane’s welded drum axis,it’s impossible to select the standard joint S-N curve.The paper puts forward a hot spot stress method to analyze and calculate the crane’s welded drum axis with the DNV and IIW standards as the basis and with finite element technologies.MINER fatigue damage linear cu-mulative hypothesis is used to determine whether the weld fatigue strength of drum axis meets the requirements.
