摘要

Abstract

This paper provides a new roller brake,designs the mechanical structure drawing and gives detailed de-scription,derives the design calculation formula of braking torque and studies the braking process and main functions of the brake. The braking principle of this device is based on the Newton inner friction law,which achieves low-velocity and large-torque braking by using the viscous shear force of the liquid between the friction plates,achieves stepless regulation of the braking force by changing the control oil pressure and flow so that the belt conveyor can brake and stop smoothly,which provides a new idea for developing key technologies of belt conveyors.
