Abstract
The construction and operation of Three Gorges Project and Yangtze River embankment changes the water regime and engineering situation of Juzhang River significantly, so the flood regulation scheme should be rechecked and adjusted. On the basis of the present flood control capacity of Juzhang River, by consideration on the influences of the hydropower projects, the mathematical model for flood control regulation of Juzhang River is established. The floods of Juzhang River under different com-binations of typical years, flood levels of Changjiang as well as flood diversion by polders were calculated. The results show that 60% of the excessive flood can be stored by optimal utilization of the polders, which can control 1984 type 10-year recurrence flood but can not control 1996 type 10-year recurrence flood.关键词
