Abstract
Wudongde Hydropower Station is located on the lower reach of Jinsha River. The project will generate huge econom-ic benefit, but at the same time, it will bring about a certain impact on the environment, mainly including hydrologic regime change induced by the reservoir impoundment, the impact on fish habitat due to dam barrier and low temperature flow discharge, the impact on terrestrial ecosystems by inundation and land occupation; the impact on water quality near the bank in backwater area of tributaries and tail area of the reservoir due to low velocity flow; the impact on the surrounding area by "3 wastes" and noise produced during project construction and resettlement. In the light of the unfavorable impacts possibly occurred in the con-struction, the correlative environmental protection measures are put forward.关键词
