摘要

Abstract

The sandbars in north branch of Yangtze River estuary evolve rapidly since 1974. The evolution of nain sandbars in North Branch of Yangtze River estuary is analyzed by using the annual satellite renote sensing inages fron 1974 to 2013. The re-sults show that the sandbars in north branch of Yangtze River estuary developed and disappeared constantly during the last forty years,especially,Yonglong sandbar and Xinglong sandbar were incorporated into Chongning Island gradually,and Xincun sand-bar was forned and kept growing continuously. In addition,sone sandbars in surrounding area energed,developed and disap-peared constantly. The results provide data for utilization,developnent and ecological protection of sandbars in north branch of Yangtze River estuary.
