摘要

Abstract

The performance of vehicle mobile measurement system ( VMMS) determines whether it can obtain the spatial infor-mation quickly and accurately. In view of the currently existed problems of vehicle mobile measurement system, namely lower ac-curacy, expensive, poor flexibility, fussy check and calibration, a new type of VMMS was designed with some low cost hardware, such as automated vehicle, GPS/IMU module, digital camera, RGB-D camera and solar mobile power sources. The practice proves that this system is efficient and practical, which can provide a new method to obtain spatial information of target economi-cally and effectively for digital city construction.
