摘要

Abstract

Wetland restoration techniques are widely used in southern China,but large-scale applications are rare in our cold northern regions. The design of Baotou Yellow River wetland ecological restoration project described a series of artificial wetlands restoration process,i. e.“riverside by-pass type of enhanced treatment process,contact oxidation system,undercurrent wetland complex systems and surface flow wetland complex sys-tem”to deal with the pollution of water in the northern cold regions. It gave the main structures of the design parameters to the northern cold re-gions,summarized the design features,and pointed out the measures and requirements for winter operation and achieved resources utilization of wa-ter reuse with local water needs,which its water quality can reach the town sewage treatment plant discharge standard level of B.
