Abstract

The nine Micro Bubble Generators( MBG) were constructed in different areas in Baiyun Lake in Guangzhou City, and the aeration effect was experimented. The result showed that the dissolved oxygen ( DO ) increase rate was higher under the lower back-ground value of dissolved oxygen( DO) by the MBGs, and the single MBG could increase DO 6. 684 %/min and 0. 16 %/m, which was impacted by the flow velocity oppositely. The aeration efficiency of each MBG cost ¥ 0. 15/%, and the tons water treatment of each MBG cost ¥ 0. 0019/m3 according to the condition that 8. 6 m3/s water was pumped to the BaiYun Lake. The MBGs had certain effect on the quality of Baiyun Lake engineering project to improve dissolved oxygen.
