摘要

Abstract

Compound surfactant vesicles wrapping reactive dyes were prepared by directly mixing sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) with certain total concentration、molar ratio in the dyeing bath. The formation of vesicles were confirmed by TEM and DLS instruments. The dyeing properties of the cationic modified cotton fabric were determined by testing the dyeing curve, leveling property and fastness. The results showed that the presence of SLS/CTAB vesicles can greatly improve the dyeing properties, especially levelling property without decreasing the total amount of dye which is covalently attached on the fibre. And the vesicles also exhibit good applicability to other dyes.
