摘要

Abstract

Massless foundation model is usually used in most dynamic analysis of lock and culvert on soft foundation, but the effect of foundation radiation damping is neglected in this approach. In order to overcome the problem, spring-damping element and seismic wave are applied to the boundary of the model on the finite element analysis platform ADINA with method of viscous-spring boundary successfully. The approach was applied to seismic response analysis of a domestic sluice-water-foundation system. The results show that compared to the traditional massless foundation model, the presented model considering radiation damping of foundation can reduce dy-namic response of sluice chamber effectively. Therefore, the proposed method is precise and stable in calculating.
