Abstract
Objective To explore the value of nursing intervention in reducing the incidence of postoperative ICU syn-drome in patients with cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass. Methods 70 cases of patients who have undergone cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass were selected in this research. 30 patients whose operation was from January 2010 to Septem-ber 2010 were selected as the control group, while the rest 40 patients from January 2013 to October 2013 were as the observation group. The control group was given conventional nursing care, while the observation group was given nursing intervention in addi-tion to the conventional nursing care. The two groups were compared in the incidence of ICU syndrome, anxiety and delirium of the patients, staying time in the ICU, and patients’ satisfaction. Results ICU syndrome, anxiety and delirium of the patients, sta-ying time in the ICU were all lower in the observation group than the control group (P<0. 05), while the patients’ satisfaction were higher than that of the control group (P<0. 05). Conclusion Nursing intervention is helpful in reducing the incidence of ICU syndrome in patients with cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass in ICU ward, which is beneficial to relieve patients’ s ymptoms, promote healing and shorten the staying time in ICU.关键词
