摘要
Abstract
Objective To study the correlation of sperm DNA damage with age and sperm parameters in infertile males. Methods Semen samples of 171 male patients were collected and DNA fragmentation examination and routine semen analysis were performed . According to DFI, the patients were divided into DFI＜15% , 15%≤DFI＜30% and DFI≥30% groups. The age and semen parameters were compared among groups,and the correlation between DFI and semen parameters were analyzed. Results There were significant differences among the three groups in age, sperm concentration, progressive motility( a+b) and morphology(P＜0. 05). DFI negatively correlated with age , sperm concentration, progressive motility(a +b) and morphology (P＜0. 05). Conclusion DFI scores are increased with male,s age,and it associated with semen parameters. Sperm DFI might be an important index for assessment of male fertility.关键词
