Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical value of procalcionin ( PCT ) in the diagnosis of infectious diseases children. Methods:Totally 166 children with infectious diseases were enrolled in the study and were divided into the bacterial infection group 87 ca-ses and the virus infection group 79 cases ,while 40 non~infection cases were set as controls ,PCT was determined by quantitative elec-trochemical luminescence ,C-reactiveprotein( CRP) and amount of white blood cell ( WBC) was detected simultaneously .Results:The positive rate and detection value of serum PCT were significantly higher than those of CRP and WBC in different groups with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:Serum PCT might have important significance for diagnosis of bacte ~rial infection in respir-atory tract in clinic .关键词
