Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of internal fixation with locking compression plate ( LCP) treatment on type C fractures of distal femur .Methods:30 patients with type C fractures of distal femur hospitalized from June 2010 to May 2013 were treated using internal fixation with LCP , including 24 males and 6 females who aged 22 to 56 years old.According to AO classification system , there were 10 cases of type C1, 12 of type C2 and 8 of type C3.Postoperative follow-up time was 9 to 18 months.Efficacy was evaluated with assessment criteria of Merchan .Results:bone union had achieved in all the patients of this group with 10 to 16 months of healing time.Internal fixation broken was found only in 2 cases, the remaining did not occur .There were 12 case that got excellent results , 14 got good, 3 got general and 1 got poor.The Excellent and good rate were 86.7%.Conclusion:internal fixation with LCP is an effective way to treat type C fractures of distal femur , which is worthy of promoting to various type fractures of distal femur .关键词
