摘要

Abstract

Objevtive:To analyze the association of GPx-3 and its interaction with environmental factors for hypertension concomitant ischemic stroke. Methods:At Fuxin rural areas, Han people who lived there from ancestor were selected as participation. 238 unrelated hypertensives and 75 hypertensives concomitant ischemic stroke were recruited. We genotyped rs3828599 of GPx-3 with pyrosequencing ( PSQ) . The logistic regression model was used to test the association between rs3828599 and hypertension concomitant ischemic stroke. We evaluated interaction between rs3828599 and risk variant carrier status for hypertension concomitant ischemic stroke with multifactor dimensionality reduction ( MDR) software. Results:1. Under recessive, dominant and codominant genetic model, three genotypes of rs3828599 did not significantly increase the risk of hypertension concomitant ischemic stroke ( P>0. 05) ,neither before nor after adjus-ted confounding factors. 2. Male, drinking status, total cholesterol (TC) and triglyceride (TG) had interaction with rs3828599 for hyper-tension concomitant ischemic stroke. Conclusion:GPx-3, male, drinking, TG and TC synergistically participate the pathogenesis of hy-pertension concomitant ischemic stroke, however, the polymorphism of rs3828599 of GPx-3 gene might not be the main risk factor for hy-pertension concomitant ischemic stroke in rural Han Chinese in Fuxin, Liaoning.
