Abstract
Objective:To expore the status of rotavirus and adenovirus infection in children with diarrhea in Henan Xinxiang 2013. Methods:A total of 2780 fecal samples were collected from January to December of 2013 in Xinxiang ,then rotavirus and adenovirus anti-gens were tested by ACON Rota-Adeno.Results:2780 samples, 715(25.7%) and 83(3.0%) cases were found positive for rotavirus and adenovirus respectively and 25(0.9%) cases for both.Rotavirus infections occurred mainly in June, October to December and ade-novirus infections happened mainly in May, September and October.Most of the children with rotavirus and adenovirus infections were from 6 to 12 months.Conclusion:Rotavirus is the major etiologic agents of diarrhea in Xinxiang.Adenovirus is the second important a-gent for children,and mixed infection is rare.关键词
