复发性脑梗死与颈动脉粥样硬化关系的临床研究
The Clinical Relationship Between Recurrence of Cerebral Infarction and Carotid Atherosclerosis

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the relationship between recurrence of cerebral infarction ( CI ) and carotid atherosclerosis ( CAS) .Methods:We consecutively recruited 429 patients with acute cerebral infarction, and ultrasonography was performed to evaluate the situation of CAS.All patients were followed up prospectively and outcome of recurrence of cerebral infarction was observed.Results:Among 429 patients with CI, recurrence was seen in 61 of them, 29 cases with moderate to severe carotid atherosclerosis in recurrence group were found, 85 cases in without recurrence group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion: There is a positive relationship between the degree of carotid atherosclerosis and recurrence of cerebral infarction,.It serves as a risk marker of cere-bral infarction recurrence.关键词
