Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of Solifenacin and Tolterodine on the female overactive bladder. Methods:During Jan.2012 and Oct.2013,20 female patients with overactive bladder were chosen and randomly divided into 2 groups ( group A and group B ,each group n=10).Group A were treated by Solifenacin,5mg once per day.Group B were treated by Tolterodine, 2mg twice per day. Both groups stopped treating 4 weeks later .t was requested to record patients'I-PSS, initial micturition desire bladder capacity, maxi-mum bladder capacity in the pre-therapy and the 4th week, 8th week of post-therapy.The symptoms of side effects ,such as dry thirst ,constipation ,sleepy were recorded .Results:Compared with the pre-therapy, both groups were characterized by the reduction of IPPS value(P<0.05),increment of initial micturition desire bladder capacity(P<0.05)and maximum bladder capacity(P<0.05)in the 8th week. But there were differences in the kinds and numbers of symptoms about side effects between two groups (P<0.05).Conclusions:The results presented that these were effective methods of oral Solifenacin and Tolterodine in the treatment of female overactive bladder. Further, Solifenacin should be more acceptable because of less side effects.关键词
