摘要

Abstract

In this paper, a sediment numerical model considering the joint action of wave and tidal current was applied to simulate the sediment siltation for the different layouts of breakwater in Xuwei port. According to the re-sults, it is summarized that the sediment deposition in the port area depends mainly on the location of the port en-trance, the layout of port area, and the useless waterside area in port. To reduce the sediment deposition, the en-trance of port should be placed as far as possible in deep water area, the current with the high concentration of sus-pended sediment should be prevented to flow directly to the waterside area, and the useless waterside area port should be reduced.
