Abstract
The hydrodynamic and sediment transports around island coasts and the changes caused by coastal structures have their own complexity and uniqueness. On the basis of the multinest two⁃dimensional mathematical model for tidal currents and sediment transport, the changes of tidal current field, sediment concentration field and the seabed erosion and deposition caused by the Gouqi breakwaters were analyzed and predicted. Research results show that the hydrodynamic and sediment environment of large area has not been greatly affected after the imple⁃mentation of the proposed breakwaters, only the hydrodynamic conditions around the island changed obviously, and the seabed is deposited with a rate of 0.1~0.3 m/a.关键词
