Abstract
Thermosensitive copolymers poly(NIP -co -BMA)of N -isopropylacrylamide (NIP)with Butyl Methacrylate (BMA) in situ gelation were synthesized by free radical copolymerization.FTIR results confirmed the structure of the monomer NIP and copoly-mer poly(NIP -co -BMA).The intrinsic viscosity and the lower critical solution temperature (LCST)of copolymer was investigated. The results indicated that the LCST was decreased with the higher concentration of BMA.The phase transition of the copolymers solu-tion occurred at body temperature and the copolymers changed the soft solids.The copolymers has a promise application in medical liq-uid embolic materials for arterial aneurysm.关键词
