Effects of Root Pruning after Topping on Dry Matter Accumulation, Uptake and Distribution of Nitrogen and Potassium of Flue-cured Tobacco
摘要
Abstract
Different root pruning time after topping on flue -cured tobacco nitrogen absorption , distribution, dry matter accumulation and change of nicotine and potassium content in upper leaves were studied .The results showed that root pruning in different periods all contributed to nitrogen absorption of flue -cured tobacco .And the earlier the root pruning , the more obvious the effect was .Compared with control , the distribution ratio of nitrogen in upper leaves of root pruning treatment did not change obviously , that in middle and lower leaves reduced and that in roots and stems improved .The change was more prominent of root pruning on the 10th and 15th day after topping.Root pruning after topping could promote dry matter accumulation , K absorption and reduce nicotine syn-thesis.The effects of root pruning on the 10th and 15th day after topping was more obvious .关键词
