Comparative Analysis on Lint Percent and Fiber Quality of Cotton Harvested at Different Time
摘要
Abstract
With 17 different categories of cotton lines as experimental materials , the changing trends of lint percent and fiber quality of seed cotton were studied at different harvest time .The results showed that the lint percent was the highest in the seed cotton harvested earlier , but the lowest in the ones harvested after frost.Fiber length was less affected by environmental factors .Specific strength of fiber harvested in early -middle period was comparatively higher , while that harvested after frost decreased obviously .The Micronaire value of fiber harvested after frost was below 4.0, and the fiber maturity was the worst .关键词
