摘要

Abstract

The profile pattern, age framework and the magnetic susceptibility, granularity, micromor-phology, loss on ignition and Rb/Sr ratio of every stratigraphic unit of Huangpingcun( HPC) profile in Yunx-ian Basin of Hubei Province were analyzed and compared.The results showed that the HPC profile recorded the environment features and evolution with the stratigraphic sequence of TS-L0 -S0 -Lt -L1 .The order of weathering intensity for each stratum was paleosoil S0 >transitional loess layer Lt >holocene loess L0 >Malan loess layer L1 .The differences between different strata revealed the climate evolution in the Holocene of Yunx-ian Basin:the climate got warmer from 11 500 a B.P.to 8 500 a B.P.,was warm and humid from 8 500 a B. P.to 3 100 a B.P.,and worsened to dry and cold from 3 100 a B.P.to now.
