基于植被供水指数的山东省2013年春季旱情监测
Drought Monitoring in Shandong Province in Spring of 2013 Based on Vegetation Supply Water Index

Abstract
Spring is the critical growth period of wheat in Shandong Province.Drought stress can serious-ly affect the wheat yield and farmers’income.Therefore,to effectively and dynamically monitor the distribu-tion of drought has important significance to guide the drought resistant policy and make plans.The normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI)and land surface temperature (Ts)were calculated using the data set of the moderate -resolution imaging spectroradiometer (MODIS ),then the vegetation supply water index (VSWI)was constructed.The correlations of VSWI with 10 -and 20 -cm soil moisture were tested.The re-sults showed that VSWI had high correlation with soil moisture,so that could correctly reflect the drought states.The drought states in Shandong Province from early April to early June was analyzed by VSWI.The re-sults showed that the drought was the worst in early April,then better,relatively stable in May and end in ear-ly June.The drought was lighter in west and southwest,which was followed by that in northwest,east and cen-tral area;the drought in Dongying was the most serious because of the serious soil salinization and weak soil water holding ability.关键词
