基于多源共享数据的北极航道海域冰情分析
A multi-parameter database for Arctic shipping routes: The example of sea ice
摘要
Abstract
Global warming and sea ice melt have made commercial navigation possible in the Arctic Ocean in summer. However, it is rare for Chinese commercial vessels to use an Arctic shipping route to travel from Asian harbors to Europe. Before establishing Arctic shipping routes, we must colect basic geographic information to establish a geodatabase for Arctic navigation. In this paper, sea ice data is obtained from open-access websites from countries such as the USA, Canada, Norway, and Russia. These data meet the spatial, temporal, and formatting demands of the geodatabase. Data from different sources also provide a way to check for data consistency in the same time periods and geographic areas.关键词
