Abstract
The joint MD/PhD dual degree program has been in existence for more than 40 years in the international medical education field. However, this program is still under exploration in China. This article reviews the development of this program between the US and Chinese medical schools, and focuses on the exploration and practice in joint MD/PhD training between the US and China. It will be helpful to utilize the experience and the resources of both countries to train the physician scientists and help to build a training system for Chinese medical leaders.关键词
