Study on the Design Concept of Ancient Peking City
摘要
Abstract
There were distinctive features of site selection, layout and architecture design in ancient Peking city and its main palaces and temples in Yuan/Ming/Qing dynasty. The methods of Chinese traditional Fengshui and set of etiquette concepts had been applied in the designs of “landscape architecture”, “ imperial city and imperial palace ” and “building group in the forbidden city” , and the site, form and scale decision of the city and the main buildings had profound meanings. To analyze and summarize the design concept of this excellent ancient city and its buildings, the study has important significance and will bring inspirations and references to construct unique feature of city and architecture design in our country under the background of globalization.关键词
