Abstract
As the representative figure of the theory of political development , Huntington ’ s concept of political de-velopment went through the authoritarian orientation to the culture to reconcile the different development goals , then democratic orientation .At the same time , it contains some of the constant theme , such as his new conservatism , his focus on U.S.national interests, his equilibrium concept.The process of political development is constituted by a series of goals .On one hand ,we should stick to the core target ,on the other hand ,we should follow the princi-ple of flexibility .关键词
