Abstract
The structural properties and hydraulic characteristics of buried rib reinforced steel bifurcation for Panlong Pumped Storage Power Station are studied, in which, the wall stress, steel volume and head loss of bifurcation under different diameter programs of main and branch pipe are calculated to obtain the stress state and hydraulic fluid state of bifurcation. The results show that, under normal operating condition, the smaller pipe diameter is more favorable to structure stress and can effectively reduce the difficulty of bifurcation's fabrication and installation, but increasing flow rate will result the increase of head loss and then reduce power generation efficiency. Therefore, the choice of bifurcation diameters should consider structural and hydraulic requirements to achieve a safe, economical and reasonable program.关键词
