Abstract
By studying the initial strength and mass loss rate and neutralization depth in nitric acid corrosion condition of seven kinds of cement mortar, the impact of fly ash and silica fume on mortar anti-acid corrosion ability are explored. The results show that: ( a) in the nitric acid corrosion conditions, the mass loss rate will decrease and the neutralization depth will increase with the increase of fly ash content, and the mortar anti-acid ability will be obviously improved when the fly ash content is around 15%; (b) with the increase of silica fume content, the mass loss rate of mortar will firstly increase and then decrease and the neutralization depth will increase, and the mortar anti-acid ability will be obviously improved when the silica fume content is around 5%; (c) the super-composite effect of fly ash and silica fume is not notable when the fly ash and silica fume are added according to their optimal contents; and ( d) the anti-acid corrosion ability of mortar is mostly determined by the composition but not the strength of cementitious materials.关键词
