软土地基堆载吹填淤泥并同步真空预压加固技术
A synchronous vacuum preloading technique for treating soft ground and its overlying hydraulic surcharge fills

Abstract
In hydraulic fill reclamation projects, the construction duration is long when the vacuum preloading method is used to improve soft ground and hydraulic fill. However, the effectiveness of improvement is relatively poor. To overcome these problems, a ground treatment technique is proposed for land reclamations with hydraulic fills on soft soils. This technique utilizes the hydraulic fills as a surcharge loading for the soft soils, and then synchronously applies vacuum preloading to both the soft soils and the hydraulic fills. By using this technique, two separate construction phases of improving soft soils and hydraulic fills are merged into a single construction period. Thus, construction time can be greatly shortened. Field test results show that the proposed technique effectively eliminates the influence of excessive deformations of the upper hydraulic fills on the improvement effectiveness of the lower soft soils in the conventional vacuum preloading technique. With no recourse to any other surcharge materials, the soft soils can be improved by vacuum combined surcharge preloading. It further promotes the effectiveness of soil improvement.关键词
