摘要

Abstract

In order to ensure the safe operation of high CFRD during earthquake, it’s one of the key is-sues of the CFRD (concrete-face rockfill dam)higher than 200 m to adopt reasonable measures for reducing seismic stress of face-slab effectively based on the understanding of the static and dynamic stress distribu-tion characteristics and regular pattern of face-slab. In this study, aseismic measure of the horizontal joint in face-slabs at the optimal position(elevation) combined with flexible reinforcement in rockfill is proposed, according to the distribution of dynamic stress. A three-dimensional static and dynamic finite element analyt-ical method is employed to research the effects of the position(elevation) and length of the horizontal joint for 300 m high CFRD. Based on the analysis of different geometrical characteristic parameters dams, it can be concluded that the effective position(elevation) of horizontal joint is located in central dam sections of 0.7~0.85 H(H is dam height),effective length is 0.3 L(L is dam axial length).
