Effects of Cadmium Exposure on Metallothionein Gene Expression of Misgurnus anguillicaudatus
摘要
Abstract
This article studied the effects of different concentrations of Cd 2+(0, 0.25, 2.5mg/L) exposure on MT gene expression in liver and gill of Misgurnus anguillicaudatus for 24, 48 and 72 hours by analyzing real-time PCR data .The results indicated that there was difference in MT gene expression between the liver and gill after exposure to Cd2+, and the liver was more sensitive than gill in response to Cd 2+exposure.MT gene expression increased with the increase of Cd 2+concentration and the extension of exposure time .Under the stress of Cd 2+, MT in the liver and gill will highly express to protect organism from damage .Therefore, MT gene of Misgurnus anguillicauda-tus can be considered as a biomarker of Cd 2 +pollution in water environment .关键词
