Abstract
Obj ective:To investigate the uncertainty in illness and quality of life of lung cancer patients receiving postoperative chemotherapy and probe into the correlation between uncertainty in illness and quality of life.Meth-ods:A total of 110 cases of lung cancer patients receiving postoperative chemotherapy admitted in First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University were selected.Chinese version of uncertainty fin Illness Scale (MUIS)and quality of life in patients with lung cancer Chinese version scale (QLQ LC43)were used to evaluate.Results:The total score of un-certainty in illness of lung cancer patients receiving postoperative chemo-therapy was 80.50,the median was 77.50,uncertainty in illness score was in the medium level;quality of life score of lung cancer patients receiving postoperative chemotherapy:physical function and cognitive function scores were relatively low,social function and role function have relatively high scores,emotional function score was in the medium level;general health subscale score was 2.93,a median of 3.00.Ambiguity was positively corre-lated with cognitive function and emotional function,physical function,role function and general health perceptions;lack of information was positively correlated with cognitive function,emotional function,role function and general health perceptions;unpredictability was positively correlated with general health perceptions,total MUIS score was positively correlated with cognitive function,emotional function,role function and general health per-ceptions.Conclusion:Total score of uncertainty in illness of lung cancer pa-tients receiving postoperative chemotherapy was at the middle level;the un-certainty in illness of lung cancer patients with postoperative chemotherapy was negatively correlated with quality of life;it prompts that to reduce un-certainty in illness will help improve the quality of life of lung cancer pa-tients receiving postoperative chemotherapy.关键词
