摘要
Abstract
Obj ective:To study the correlation between Barthel self care ability score and nursing workload.Methods:Barthel assessment scale was used to assess the patients’self care ability.All patients were divid-ed into totally need of care group,most need of care group,little part need of care group and basic self care group on the basis of patients’self care ability.The man hour calculation method was used to calculate the daily direct nursing workload for inpatients.Results:Patients with differ-ent self care ability needed different direct nursing workload,and there was no statistically significant difference between totally need of care group and most need of care group(P>0.05),wheras there was statisti-cally significant difference between other groups(P<0.05).In the 13 di-rect nursing items,10 items of direct nursing workload had negative cor-relation with the Barthel self care ability scores(P<0.01).Conclusion:Patients’self care ability is an important factor for reflecting the nurs-ing workload,but not the only factor.It should integrate various factors reacting clinical nursing workload and establish a patient classification system suitable for our national condition to realize the scientific and ra-tional allocation and use the nursing human goal.关键词
