Comparison of evaluation methods of registered nurses’core competence of undergraduate nursing teachers

Abstract
Objective:To probe into the difference of self evaluation,evaluation of head nurses and nursing students’evaluation on registered nurses’core competence of undergraduate nursing teachers.Methods:A total of 1 2 6 undergraduate nursing teachers were selected and 7 9 teachers are serving as head nurses currently.1 2 6 undergraduate nursing students being with the teaching were selected as research obj ects,application of regis-tered nurses’core competence questionnaire was used to investigate the self evaluation,the head nurses’evalua-tion and the students’evaluation on the registered nurses’core competence of teachers.Results:The score of reg-istered nurses’core competence and j ob satisfaction of undergraduate nursing teachers were lower than the as-sessment of head nurses and the students (P<0.05).In all dimensions of registered nurses’core competence, the leadership score,legal/ethical practice score and interpersonal relationship score were the highest.Conclu-sion:Undergraduate nursing teachers have higher self expectation,but self acceptance is lower.Schools and hos-pitals should take two aspects measures including the internal and external aspects,Which can make the teach-ers improve their confidence of correct understanding of nursing work and self ability.关键词
