摘要

Abstract

An orthodontic clinic cases database was established and its application potential in orthodontic experimental course, based on a problem-based learning ( PBL) teaching mode, was explored. At the end of the course, a questionnaire was designed to collect students’ evaluation and feedback and the data was analyzed. The results indicate that the orthodontic clinical cases database provided a vivid and visible teaching resource, and that the combination of the database with PBL teaching mode effectively improved the students’ enthusiasm for learning,developed their ability of finding, analyzing and solving problems, and promoted the formation of their clinical thinking.
