Abstract
Publishing high quality medical papers in journals indexed by SCI is an important way to demonstrate research achieve-ments of both basic and clinical medicine. The difficulty of Chinese medical researchers to publish a paper in SCI-indexed journals is not only the result of natural barrier of language, but also of their inadequate writing skills due to lack of systematic learning. In this paper the experience in launching a new course for medical postgraduates on how to write a paper for journals indexed by SCI was intro-duced and the necessity, course design, teachers and textbooks of the new course were discussed, hoping to provide reference for medi-cal institutions to launch such courses, and to catch the eye of related medical research departments and administrative authorities re-sponsible for medical postgraduate education.关键词
